Norlda Jean
Norlda Jean is the Co-President at COSSDAC. She was previously the Outreach Coordinator. As Outreach Coordinator, she led the StemPower program. This is an intensive program to provide learning opportunities for highschoolers. Norlda is creating a committee, as well as lesson plans to teach science to highschoolers who demonstrate interest. These lessons take place every two weeks throughout the school year, creating volunteer opportunities for students at Northeastern, as well as learning opportunities for high school freshmen, sophomores, and juniors. As Co-President, she collaborates with Emma to fulfill all Presidential duties.
Emma Harden
Emma is Co-President along with Norlda for COSSDAC. As such, she serves as a point of contact for the organization, and works alongside the co-president to oversee all COSSDAC programs. Emma also previously served as COSSDAC's Vice President, and Social Media Coordinator.
Amal Elmaldy
Amal Elmady is our Mentorship Coordinator. As such, she is responsible for COSSDAC's Mediment mentorship program, as well as our Pre-PhD mentorship program. Amal is also in the process of devising several educative events, such as - A College of Science advising team panel - A pre-med advising team panel - A PhD and med school application panel - A past COSSDAC members panel - An event featuring accoplished women in the College of Science - A meeting for undecided students - An undergraduate mentorship event Amal is passionate about providing guidance to those underrepresented in the sciences, and looks forward to providing opportunities for such individuals.
Chiara Blake
Chiara Blake, or as her friends know her Chay, is this years Programs Coordinator for COSSDAC. Chiara is in the process of creating and executing many wonderful educative events, such as a Meet the Faculty event on November 21st, a Futures Panel on Oct 17th, and a College of Science Unofficial Ted-Ed event, date TBD. Chay has shown astounding drive to composing and leading informative and welcoming events for members of the college of science.
Thira Boonrawd
Thira works as COSSDAC's treasurer. As such, Thira monitors COSSDAC's finances, accounts, and budget. Thira allocates financial resources for different programs, demonstrating notable organization skills by keeping perfect track of paperwork and deadlines. Thira provided thorough and insightful knowledge when she ran the What I Wish I Knew meeting, the Get to Know Your Major Meeting, and many more to come.
Alyssa Lee
Alyssa has the position of secretary for COSSDAC. Alyssa records detailed meeting notes for each e-board meeting, is responsible for the maintenance of COSSDAC's email, and manages all of COSSDAC's social media. Alyssa also diligently keeps track of members interested in joining the email list. Alyssa ran and executed the Get to Know Your Major meeting, which provided useful wisdom to lower classmen.

Manuela Eroles
Manuela Eroles, better known as Nita Eroles, was the fall president of COSSDAC for the fall semester of 2022. She was previously the Mentorship Coordinator for COSSDAC. Nita served as the point of contact for the organization and oversees the individual programs COSSDAC runs, monitoring their development. Nita also served as the spokesperson for the College of Science Equity and Diversion Committee, as well as the COSSDAC spokesperson for LASSO. Nita also created this very COSSDAC website, in the attempts to make COSSDAC a welcoming and accessible club to all COS individuals. As Mentorship Coordinator, Nita designed and executed several informative events for the students of the College of Science, such as the Q&A Panel with Medical Students Event, The STEM Co-op Panel, and the Conversation with Researchers in Behavioral Neuroscience Event. Nita hopes to continue providing mentorship and advocacy for equity and inclusion, and plans to pursue a MD.
Laetitia Pierre-Louis
We would like to give a special thanks to last year's COSSDAC President, Laetitia Pierre-Louis. COSSDAC is alive and thriving very much thanks to Laetitia, who went above and beyond in her role as president. Laetitia took part in countless leadership opportunities, oversaw and guided club members with care and respect, created projects for the betterment of students of color in STEM, and overall put in tremendous effort so that COSSDAC could blossom. Thank you Laetitia!
